What do you do...

... when you don't know what to do... when everything about you and your life has fallen apart ... when your life is cold and empty because that is what you created?

Got chocolate? It'll help you think, it may inspire...and it makes your tummy happy.

P.S. Ham and split pea soup must have been a hit since Gremlin2 devoured it.

Snow up to hips. Drifts even higher. -9.4 degrees F. windchill.

Big Sis has laid down some Heavenly Law: choco a-go-go

Would that it were that easy. This requires much stronger medicine.

Funny that you should use imperial instead of metric, but then again you are slightly more aged. Also funny that in noting temperature, anything above freezing, I can use Fahrenheit or Celsius, but once it gets to 32F, I switch to metric. It got down to windchill minus 26C when I was out there earlier today.

Yes, definitely chocolate! It's my favorite mood altering drug of all time. I could use some now (my stash is empty). I think we will all have cabin fever soon if this nasty storm doesn't go away.

Yes, chocolate can work wonders on mood, but this isn't about mood.

I like being out shovelling snow til I can hardly move, but being out there surrounded by all that cold, silent beauty hammers home the point of how fragile and futile life is.

Why use two systems? Why doesn't that cause cognitive dissonance?

Or at least confusion.

Ah... I can't remember, but I think at some point when I got to elementary school they started using metric? I don't know for sure. All I know is that I knew imperial and learned metric.

What about when chocolate doesn't work in metric or imperial system of weight? That's where I am. I still buy it occasionally, but don't actually eat it, because that's how dark it is in this whole. (Let's just say I'm known for ALWAYS having chocolate on my person at all times.)

I'm very disconnected from my body and life due to my issues, so I've pledge to meditate for 10 mins. everyday for a month to try and help reconnect with myself. Don't laugh, its a hell of a lot harder than you think. I've also been doing yoga. But then I'm messed up in the head, so these are all head activities to help sort, file, identify, and reconnect. Have I found Inner Peace like Master Fu in Kung Fu Panda 2? Nope but I am a little calmer and that's saying something.

If I medicated (chocolate, booze, whatever) or meditated...to get through MY head... I'd be dead. I WAS at peace with the universe, but I found the universe to be at war with me.

You were in Kindergarten....
For future cravings (aside from Chocolate):
KFC apparently has a "Variety Big Box" Meal: Drumsticks, chicken strips, popcorn chicken, two side dishes and a biscuit equal 1,680 calories, but sometimes - who cares?! It was ranked #2 out 10 of most fattening fast food meals.
(McD's Big Mac meal did not make the cut, nor did Burger King's Big Whopper meal.)

I don't get cravings for chocolate... Beef, chicken, bacon, yes...

Oh... DQ's OLD Chicken Strip Basket was a killer... So damn good... Four chicken strips, fries, gravy AND thick cut toast... That was back in the 90s.
